Proact in the News: Search in full swing for Yorkville superintendent
YORKVILLE — The search has officially begun for a new Yorkville school superintendent.
School Board members this week approved a one-page profile, which describes the duties, responsibilities and qualifications they’re looking for in the district’s next chief of schools.
Last month, Wilmette-based recruiting firm Proact Search conducted community focus groups and an online survey to find out what teachers, principals, business owners, volunteers and elected officials want to see from the next superintendent.
From 350 responses, Proact Search created a profile meant to reflect the needs and wants of the entire community.
Apparently, the community is seeking someone with kindergarten through 12th grade experience with at least a master’s degree in school administration, but preferably a doctorate.
Responses are currently closed, but you can trackback from your own site.
